A crowded category that mostly sells guilt.
Quit smoking apps are not a new idea, and most of them lead with fear. Diseased lungs, shock statistics, a tone that makes the person feel worse for having started. It is a category where the marketing tends to work against the outcome, because someone who already feels bad about smoking does not need more of that.
There was a commercial problem too. Quitly starts free, and a free product has to be sold carefully. Lead too hard on free and it reads as low value. Hide the free tier and nobody signs up. On top of that, the app has an AI coach called Quinn, and AI features are easy to dismiss as a gimmick unless the page shows exactly what it does.
The site needed to sell hope rather than guilt, make the free tier feel generous instead of cheap and cover both smoking and vaping without doubling the length of every sentence.
Progress you can see, in plain numbers.
The whole site is built around a single screen: the app dashboard showing days smoke free, money saved, cigarettes avoided and a recovery percentage. That one visual does more selling than any headline, because it shows the person what they will be looking at every morning.
- Hero anchored to the real dashboard, showing the streak, the savings and a message from the coach
- Health evidence strip citing NHS, CDC and BMJ figures, with each source named next to the claim
- Feature grid covering the streak, the AI coach, the health timeline, craving support, milestones and a savings goal
- A direct comparison of going it alone against using the app, written without shaming anyone
- Free tier presented first and in full, with the paid tier positioned as an upgrade rather than a gate
- Copy that covers smoking and vaping together instead of forking every sentence
- Privacy and terms pages, clean redirects and full structured data
- Static single page with no bitmap images in the interface, every icon inline, so it loads almost instantly
We built the product and the site: the app itself in React Native with an OpenAI powered coach, accounts and sync on Supabase, subscriptions through RevenueCat, and the marketing site as a single static page.

Health claims cited
Every figure on the page is attributed to NHS, CDC or BMJ research rather than asserted.
These three are our own products, not client work. We build them with the same process we sell: one clear message, a page that loads instantly and a route to purchase that does not make anyone think. Building and running our own apps is also how we stay honest about what actually converts.Wellington Web Co. Studio, in house build
