Terms & Conditions

Wellington Web Co.

By working with Wellington Web Co, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and a smooth working relationship between both parties.

1. Services Provided
Wellington Web Co. provides website design, development, and related digital services as agreed upon in writing (via email or contract) before any project begins.

2. Payment Terms​.

  • Payment methods accepted: Bank Transfer, PayPal, or as otherwise agreed.

  • Late payments may incur a fee of [e.g. 2% per month].


3. Revisions & Changes

  • We offer 3 rounds of revisions included in the project fee.

  • Additional revisions or changes outside the original scope may incur extra charges, which will be quoted and agreed upon before work continues.


4. Content & Materials

  • Clients are responsible for providing all website content (text, images, logos, etc.) unless otherwise agreed.

  • All content provided by the client must be owned by them or have permission for use.


5. Ownership & Copyright

  • Once full payment has been received, ownership of the completed website design is transferred to the client.

  • Wellington Web Co. reserves the right to display the completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials.


6. Website Hosting & Maintenance

  • Unless hosting or maintenance is specifically included in the project agreement, it is the client’s responsibility to arrange and manage hosting.

  • We offer hosting and maintenance packages separately upon request.


7. Liability

  • While we take all reasonable care to create secure and functional websites, Wellington Web Co. cannot guarantee protection from all potential security threats, hacks, or downtime once the website is live.

  • We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from website failure, security breaches, or technical issues after handover unless covered by an ongoing maintenance agreement.


8. Termination

  • Either party may terminate the project in writing.

  • If the client terminates the project after work has started, any completed work will be billed accordingly, and the initial deposit is non-refundable.


9. Privacy & Data

  • Any personal information shared with Wellington Designs will be handled confidentially and will not be shared with third parties without consent.


10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, any disputes will be resolved under these laws.

By proceeding with Wellington Web Co, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
